Catholic, Angelican, non-denominational, Evangelical Free, Seventh Day Adventist.
Regardless of denomination, regardless of hometown, Christians of all walks joined together in Shakopee last Thursday evening for the National Day of Prayer.
They prayed, read Scripture, praised, repented, mediated, thanked and sang.
Originally scheduled at Huber Park, the community prayer event was moved due to bad weather to the Bridge church in the Canard Aerospace building on Fuller Street. It was sponsored by the Shakopee Ministerial Association, which meets monthly and also holds an annual interdenominational Thanksgiving service.
