Taking advantage of what was left of the snow on their way home Wednesday afternoon, a group of Pearson Elementary School children threw down their backpacks for a little snowball fight.

"I'm going to have to tell her a long, long story," said 9-year-old Francisco Gutierrez, when asked how his mom might feel about the water and dirt stains on his pants.
